#MotivationMonday- May 14th, 2018

So, around this time last year, a dear old coworker of mine, who actually has became one of my main motivators and inspirations, had just finished nursing school! So if you don’t know that process, you graduate from school and then you have to take this really hard test called the NCLEX to be able to start working as a nurse. We were talking one night because because she actually found out she failed her test and has to retake it again. She was letting me know how discouraged she was and how she felt after she found out she failed. I had never heard her so down on herself. She’s always the one who is my rock when I’m down so I felt great that I could now return the favor. I gave her advice that can really apply in any situation. Don’t be discouraged because you fail. People think because you fail, that’s the end… ABSOLUTELY NOT! Failure is always an option but it doesn’t have to be your final one. God doesn’t get us to the finish line just to take away the ribbon and not let us finish strong. Every road block is to make our victory even better and our testimony an even greater story to tell. So the next time you don’t get that job, or you maybe don’t pass that hard test, be emotional, definitely be disappointed, but don’t lose your tunnel vision. Your story is greater, and your victory is greater than any circumstance during… It’s not how you start, it’s how you finish. ❤
